It all began with a bloke called Davey Hughes. He couldn’t find hunting gear tough enough for New Zealand’s harsh terrain and wild weather. He and his mates wanted to stay warm, dry, and comfortable so they could hunt harder, longer, and better. In 1994, Swazi was born in Levin, New Zealand, and in true Kiwi fashion, out of a garage.

As demand grew, Swazi partnered with trusted manufacturers in Asia to produce their fleece and technical gear, ensuring the same high standards in quality and ethics. While production has expanded, their commitment to make the best possible gear remains as strong as ever
